European Rover Challenge is the biggest space – robotics, open-door event in Europe addressed to a wide audience, the new technology industry and the scientific and business world. Mars rover society hosted the event for the first time in Poland in 2014 and since then ERC takes place each year. ERC is organized at the initiative of the Polish branch of Mars Society.
European Rover Challenge is composed of three elements. The first part is an international Mars robot’s competition, in which compete students from technical universities from around the world. Second part is scientific and technological presentations for the wide audience. Third one is science and business part – the Conference and Mentoring Workshop.
European Rover Challenge along with University Rover Challenge is a part of Rover Challenge Series – the most prestigious robotics challenge league in the world, powered by The Mars Society.
